How To Be Confident Even If You Are An Introvert.

It’s a fine evening on a lazy Saturday and all you wanna do is relax in your bed and watch the latest season of Stranger Things.

Your phone rings! It’s your friend saying “Hey! It’s party at my home tonight, come over it’s gonna be fun.”

Ah! What a pain. You don’t wish to go there. Being around a lot of people scares you to death. You can’t talk to them without being awkward. You hate to socialize.

But deep inside, you also want to be like others. You also wanna talk to those ladies and have fun. You also know that if you want to grow in your professional and social life, you need to be CONFIDENT.

I know you have tried random tips and tricks from the internet. But unfortunately, nothing seems to be working out.

Let me show you what works.

Become a Master conversationalist.

You cannot attain a high level of self-confidence without a set of great conversation skills. A great conversationalist makes the other person talk.

You gotta make them feel important. A great conversationalist makes the other person feel like the President of the United States. Getting me?

Okay. How to do that?  -Let me show you how.

The F.O.R.D Technique.

FORD stands for-

  • FAMILY
  • OCCUPATION
  • RECREATION AND
  • DREAMS

The FORD technique is an easy method to start a small talk and turn it into a meaningful conversation.

You can use this method with complete strangers and turn them into your friends.

Let me show you how to use these four powerful topics to have a great conversation with anyone.

FAMILY.

Almost all of us have a family and we love it. You should always have a few family-related questions in your arsenal and make sure you always ask open-ended questions.

Don’t ask questions like ‘How many people are there in your family?’ or ‘what is your Father’s name?’

Rather, you should ask questions like  ‘how did you meet your partner?’ or ‘what college do your children attend?’ etcetera.

OCCUPATION.

If you don’t wanna talk about personal things like family, you can ask questions related to occupation.

Ask what do they do? Talk about their company or business. Ask questions relating to their line of work. Ask what do they find interesting in their job?

Such open-ended questions can keep the conversation going effortlessly.

However, If someone is into some odd occupation like Politics, you should try not to talk about it because, in case of conflict of opinions you might try to shove your opinion down the throat of the other person, and it might get ugly.

RECREATION.

Recreation! It’s a Lawyer’s term for ‘Having fun.’ Now, this could be a really amazing topic of conversation. You can talk about endless things like favorite TV shows, hobbies, sports, and movies.

If you are looking for a light-hearted conversation that could bring you closer to the other person, then you should definitely have an arsenal full of questions about what they do for fun.

DREAMS.

Now, this is a really emotional and sensitive thing to talk about. Asking someone about their dreams could be a very tricky task.

If according to you someone has outrageous dreams, it would be a better idea to say nothing about it.

Because it can hurt anyone easily if you tell them that becoming the first astronaut to Saturn is a ridiculous dream. Therefore, appreciate their thinking and move on.

However, if you can ask others about their dreams and comment on it diplomatically even if they are outrageous, you can become the most likable person on earth.

Now, You know how to talk properly. Let’s move to the next part.

Your Body Speaks a language, You Gotta Learn It.

Your Brain is a wicked machine. It’s clever as a Fox and lazy as a Bear. But, you can trick it-- if you know the right system-- to make it believe that you are more confident than you actually are.

Your body language is as important as your conversation skills.

Non-verbal cues create a subconscious effect on the people that look at you, Either you appear shy or timid, or you appear A HECK LOTTA CONFIDENT.

Let me show you a few body language hacks to trick your brain and appear more confident.

SLOOOOOW DOWN. MOVE LESS!

Whenever you talk, do You touch your hair, your nose, scratch somewhere, or move your feet like you wanna dig a hole in the ground?

If you fidget or walk faster than the Road Runner, Please stop this. It sucks. And it makes you appear nervous. Very nervous.

You gonna say, Then what do I do buddy?
Do this-

Whenever you walk, notice your pace and slow it down. If you take giant steps and walk a mile in a minute, you appear like you have no control over your life.

Walk at a decent pace. Don’t look down while walking and swing your hands. You gonna appear way more confident.

One more thing, whenever you are sitting and talking to someone, try to move as less as possible. You have to be as unreactive as possible. You will see the difference yourself once you start practicing this.

CHEW A GUM IF POSSIBLE.

Your brain can be tricked easily. It’s kinda foolish. So, when you chew a gum, you are eating something, And your brain thinks that you cannot be in a serious situation if you are eating something.

Try this technique if possible, it is definitely gonna make you feel like you are in the spa having a soothing massage even if you are fighting a dinosaur with a wooden sword.

Now, the holy grail.

YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH EVERY DAY, WHY HIDE THEM?

Ever noticed how you feel when someone comes up to you, smiles, and displays their teeth in full glory?

-Yes! You feel cherished, and it brings up a smile on your face too. Thank your mirror neurons for that.

But, how do you feel when you look at someone with a sad lifeless face, a face that displays hardships and misery? Don't you feel depressed? Mirror neurons at play.
Got the point? I know you did.

Okay. Now, you have the shotgun loaded with the ammo. And you know what to do next. CHEERS.

How To Be Charismatic Like Robert Downey Jr

You wanna be charismatic? Sure you do. We all do. But you know what, there's a myth- a heinous myth-that charisma in inborn, and cannot be developed.  WRONG! Anyone can be charismatic. It's not a talent, It's a skill. And I am gonna teach it to you. First of all, you should know what is charisma. Charisma is something that sets you apart from others. Makes you more desirable, more likable, more influential, and more attractive. In short, charisma is the ability to woo people around you. Do you know any charismatic person? Ok, let's take an example of Robert Downey Jr.  He's a man with immense charisma. But how does he do that? Let's get right into it. Maintain Eye Contact. Use the 80/20 Principle. Your eyes are a window into your soul. Downey maintains eye contact like a pro. He does this while explaining his point, and wanders around a bit when the other person is talking. That's the key.  You have to maintain eye contact as long...

How To Sleep For Two Hours A Day And Still Love The Morning: Polyphasic Schedule

I know you wanna punch me in the face after reading this outright ridiculous headline. But I promise--as you read the post--you’re gonna change your mind. I know you are still doubtful. So, to make this outlandish claim sound reasonable, let me introduce you to the concept of “Polyphasic sleep.” Well, in layman’s term, “Polyphasic sleep” pattern is a sleep schedule in which, instead of dozing 8 hours at a stretch, the sleeping you divide it into smaller chunks, so you end up feeling refreshed even if you snooze for a very short time. If you adopt this plan, you can cut at least 3-4 hours of sleep time every day. It’s like having extra 24 hours per week. Has anyone ever tried this? Yeah! Let me tell you about a few wildly popular people who adopted “Polyphasic sleep” pattern. TESLA ·         NIKOLA TESLA. The inventor of alternating cur...
